On November 9, 2012, Antonio and I got married at the
Justice of Peace here in Spain. For me
it was a long and tedious process since I had to get all my papers in order and
there were some snags due to the fact that I am a US citizen born outside of
the USA. But in the end everything came
together and we could even enjoy my mom`s presence as she was visiting at the
time. We didn`t have any kind of
celebration and even went right to work after our 11.05am time slot (Crazy huh,
working on your wedding day). So finally after over 15 years of relationship we finally decided it was
time to make it official and put everthing on paper and time to CELEBRATE!

On May 31, 2014 we would like you to join us and help celebrate our wedding. The celebration will take place in the surrounding area of Granada and it will be during the day. The dress attire will be ¨smart casual¨. What`s that mean? Well basically it means you do not have to wear a suit or ball gown but we would like you to put some thought and effort into what you wear that day. But if that means jeans, a nice button down shirt or a skirt and blouse, that`s fine with us. The weather in May is very unpredictable and although we are obviously hoping for warm, DRY weather......you never know. As this is a Spanish wedding you can count on it lasting all day and into the wee hours of the night so you do need to bring something warm for the evening/night time. As far as the location and the place itself, I will keep you updated but you can count on being able to rent a room there on location for the night of the wedding and we are even considering staying the next night as well. As the date gets nearer I will be updating the information and keep you all posted. Make sure to sign up to receive all the latest information.
